Great for potters, jewelers, and glass artists, the Jewelry Rack makes your kiln firings more efficient, allowing you to easily fire small beads, pendants, buttons, etc., without them sticking to your kiln shelf! Simply place the entire rack in your kiln with your glazed pieces on it. 5.5" H x 4" D. Made from durable cast stoneware, the Jewelry Rack includes 15 heavy gauge nichrome wires and 3 hooks that can withstand multiple firings. Distribute weight evenly across the wires. At Cone 6, wires have a maximum weight of 13 grams per inch, with some deflection of the wire; for little or no deflection, do not exceed 3.5 grams per inch. Using the Jewelry Rack for heavier items could damage the wires and hooks. Maximum firing temperature is Cone 10.
